Five Montgomery County Gen Z’ers have found their place among the 13 talented overachievers doing big things around the Philadelphia suburbs, writes Gina Lizzo for Main Line Today.

Ethan Mazer founded Empower Event Group when he was 15. Today, at 26, he is the head of a full-service entertainment company that organizes mitzvahs, Sweet 16 parties, weddings, school events, and much more.

Gladwyne sisters Alexis and Taylor Brady are co-founders of Bored No More. The 17-year-old Alexis and 15-year-old Taylor have raised more than $15,000 for their charity project that provides bags filled with goodies, such as coloring books, Play-Doh, and card games to kids in hospitals.

Lizzie Shacklett, author of I Read Before Bed, started the nonprofit Literacy Is Lit. The rising junior at Agnes Irwin School hosts book drives for schools in need and has distributed more than 20,000 books so far.
