Lansdale Catholic point guard Sanyiah Littlejohn is preparing for a big summer, writes Joseph Santoliquito for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
She is hoping to attract the attention of college coaches when she steps onto the court as one of the senior leaders next season.
The 17-year-old is a three-year starter for the Crusaders. She played a pivotal role as a sophomore when Lansdale Catholic managed to snag a 2023 trifecta by winning the Philadelphia Catholic League, District 12, and PIAA Class 6A championships.
During the game, she makes sure to do a little of everything to make sure her team will win. Against SLAAM P24, she scored six points and added seven assists, three steals, and three rebounds.
“That comes from playing against boys since I was 6,” she said. “I did not really get introduced to playing organized basketball against girls until I was in seventh grade.”
Littlejohn has already received several scholarship offers, including from Charleston, George Mason, Long Island University, Fordham, Maryland-Baltimore County, Monmouth, and Massachusetts.
