Ambler’s Phenom Has Helped Pioneer Automated Hiring Software and Address the Labor Shortage

Phenom has pioneered the automated hiring process for hundreds of companies and is continuing to leave its mark.

Since it was founded in 2011, Phenom has helped pioneer the field of hiring automation software for hundreds of the world’s biggest companies, writes Joseph N. DiStefano for The Philadelphia Inquirer

The Ambler-based firm counts 700 of the 2,000 biggest companies in the world as clients and has grown over the past decade-plus to offer digital, rapid response to the ongoing labor shortage worldwide.

“There’s a talent war. You could see it coming,” said Greg Muccio, managing director for talent acquisitions at Southwest Airlines, which is one of Phenom’s clients.

Phenom helps with each of the practical steps within the job hiring process, including the screening, interviewing, feedback, recommendations, and more.

However, Phenom CEO Mahe Bayireddi stresses that the platform doesn’t believe that humans should be replaced by robotics.

Human managers are still responsible for creating the strategy and making the major workforce decisions. Automation instead frees staff from administrative chores to instead spend more time planning and leading.

Bayireddi highlighted that two million online job listings use Phenom’s platform on any given day and have helped hundreds of companies in a variety of ways.
