A sprawling Gladwyne estate built in 2011 for Andrew Barroway, a former owner of the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes and managing partner at Merion Investment Management, has hit the market once again for $12.925 million, at 100 Maple Hill Rd., writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The property last traded hands less than two years ago, when it was purchased for $9.26 million.
Prior to that, the lavish home had been on and off the market for six years as its then-owner had trouble finding a buyer. The original asking price for the estate in 2016 when it was first put up for sale was $28 million.
In the coming years, that price was continuously slashed until it was under $10 million.
The main house is set on 32 acres and features seven bedrooms, ten bathrooms, an indoor pool, wine cellar, an arcade, theater, and lighted basketball and tennis courts, among many other amenities.
“It looks old, but it functions new,” said listing agent Lavinia Smerconish of Compass Real Estate. “And it functions fun.”
There is also a three-bedroom guesthouse with vaulted ceilings as well as gardens and trails throughout the property.
