The She Powered Design Studio had a recent grand opening at 319 W. Main Street.
This woman’s boutique features high-end designs.
It is located in the historic, now-renovated Dresher Arcade building.
The Dresher Arcade building was built in 1918 as the home of Dresher Motors, according to Dick Shearer at lansdalehistory.org.
The Buick dealership was run by Raymond S. Dresher when selling new cars was an emerging business for someone who was already repairing cars or horse-drawn carriages.
In 1928, the building was transformed into a series of stores, apartments, and offices, with over 100 businesses taking up shop there.
As its latest tenant, She Powered offers high-end brands like Coco Chanel, Gucci, and more, according to Barth Consulting, the group heading up the revitalization and promotion of Lansdale businesses.
The woman-owned business was created to empower and inspire women through fashion and style.
