Owowcow Creamery sells scratch-made, locally-sourced ice cream at its five existing locations.

At Owowcow Creamery in Chalfont, customers can enjoy delicious ice cream from local farmers, reports Bob Kelly for FOX 29.

The Owowcow takes all-natural ice cream made from scratch, puts it in the freezer, and the lines are out the door.

“All of our ice cream is made from scratch, so we use local eggs, local cream, milk, honey,” said Shira Wade, managing director and partner at Owowcow.

In addition to its ice cream, there are also ice cream sandwiches and the Bow Wow Cow collection, which is ice cream made specifically for dogs.

The creamery works with a local dog company to help with the recipe.

Owowcow recently partnered with Warwick Farm Brewing on a new ice flavor — an espresso ice cream with a beer caramel swirl.

A yet-to-debut flavor is a sorbetto cream, a mix of ice cream and sorbet.

“We have a Sicilian ricotta, we have a lemon basil, apple riesling, a rosewater cherry,” said Ali Rizzo, executive chef & production manager at Owowcow.

There are also various vegan flavors, as well as popsicles available.

Owowcow has been in business for 15 years, and currently has five locations.

A sixth location is set to open its door in Cape May in the coming months.
