Wallace Dry Goods is all about providing an adult drinking experience without the alcohol.

Wallace Dry Goods in Ardmore is a liquor store on the Main Line that doesn’t sell any liquor.

There’s bottle after bottle on the shelves of whiskey, wine, gins, and mixers , and a beer pong table stacked with Guinness, and it’s all non-alcoholic, writes Ben Silver for Main Line Today.

Owner Robin Cummiskey aims to giver her customers “the full drinking experience,” without the alcohol.

“We have everything here that you need to build a drink for yourself,” she said. “And that’s because I want people who are not drinking to have all the same tools at their disposal.”

Too often, restaurants will serve non-alcoholic beverages in a plastic cup just because it’s missing that one ingredient.

“I want the full experience if I order a margarita. Give it to me in the same glass that you would give an adult margarita,” Cummiskey said.

The assumption is if there’s no alcohol it’s for children, but the sober, the sober-curious, and even those wanting a nonalcoholic drink after a long night in the bar should be treated like everyone else, she said.

Having the option to choose is what Wallace Dry Goods is all about.
