Tower Health Is Closing Two Urgent Care Locations, Including One in Oaks

Tower Health, the owner of Pottstown Hospital, has recently been facing financial struggles.

Tower Health is undergoing some strategic consolidation of its urgent care locations to streamline the health system’s operations, writes WFMZ 69 News staff.

The closures including locations in Hamburg in Berks County and Oaks in Montgomery County were made effective on February 25.

To compensate, the North Coventry, Chester County, and Exeter Township locations are now open 7 days per week.

The Limerick urgent care in Montgomery County will reopen, and beginning March 16 will also have hours 7 days per week.

The health system’s other urgent care centers will remain open for patients.
