It looks like the Montgomery County musical duo Daryl Hall & John Oates are indeed on separate trajectories right now as Hall plans on partnering with Elvis Costello this summer instead, writes Dan DeLuca for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Hall & Oates have been embroiled in a legal disagreement that has yet to be resolved so Hall is touring this summer with Elvis Costello who will be backed by his band the Imposters with Charlie Sexton.

Costello will play first, and Hall will close the show with his band.

“We are looking forward to kicking off the show in style in the certainty that Daryl will deliver a slam-bang finish,” Costello said in a statement.

Hall said of Costello, “It’s fantastic to be able to rekindle a musical relationship. Get ready for lots of great music.”

Will the two perform together? Fans will have to wait and see.

The tour will be coming to the Mann Center on July 10 and tickets go on sale to the public on March 15 at 10 a.m.
