Boo at the Zoo

Dates: Weekends in October
Location: Elmwood Park Zoo

If you’re looking for Halloween things to do with kids, Boo at the Zoo is an absolute must! On weekends in October, kids can parade their costumes, participate in treat stations, and enjoy animal meet and greets amidst a backdrop of festive decorations. Adults are encouraged to dress up, too! All activities are included with regular zoo admission.

Witches of Narberth

Date: Saturday, Oct. 25
Location: Downtown Narberth

Immerse yourself in a magical tradition with the Witches of Narberth scavenger hunt, a beloved event that has quickly become a highlight for families across the Main Line. This enchanting adventure begins at 1:00 PM, transforming the charming streets of downtown Narberth into a delightful hunt for the craftiest witches around. Welcoming children of all ages, this event encourages participants to search high and low, visiting friendly local businesses to collect treats and, eventually, a special Halloween prize upon their triumphant return to the starting point.

Costumes are encouraged to add to the festive atmosphere, but are entirely optional. The hunt continues until 4:00 PM, or until all the prizes magically disappear. Best of all, this event is entirely free, offering families a memorable Halloween experience without spooking your wallet.
