Helping Hands Family, a provider of comprehensive autism services for children based in King of Prussia is now offering children with autism an alternative to traditional preschool called the Little Hands Day Program, according to PR Newswire.

The program is designed to give children with autism spectrum disorder more tools and resources to help them be more learning-ready for kindergarten.

Features of the program include an experienced autism specialist team, an individualized curriculum, and 1:1 support for each child.

“We blend therapeutic interventions with school-like activities such as circle time, arts and crafts, and peer play, which builds the foundational skills essential for a successful school experience,” said HHF Parent Engagement Coordinator, Lindsay Phillips.

“This approach decreases the need for extensive support in school once the child achieves these milestones and transitions effectively into the educational environment.”
