A Lower Makefield Township first responder has something up his sleeve, and it includes a lifelong passion for pool, writes Nick Iadonisi for 6 ABC.
A police officer by day, and “Philly Flash” by night, Steve Markle has had a lifelong passion for the game. He’s earned the moniker for his speediness while playing.
His journey began as a young kid when someone showed him and his father how to execute a “four-ball shot.”
Now Markle’s impressive skills have ranked him ninth in the world in the professional pool tour, and the winner of the 2023 U.S. Nationals.
Markle has a YouTube channel where he shows off his skills and documents his journey.
