For the furrier set, The Landing offers pup cups filled with whipped cream and topped with a dog biscuit to enjoy while the rest of the family is enjoying their meals.

When you have a furry best friend, it can be hard to leave them anxiously waiting for you at home when you go out to eat.

Luckily, many Philadelphia area restaurants offer al fresco dining where your BF is welcome to join you, writes Craig LaBan for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

One such dog-friendly place is The Landing Kitchen on 617 Righters Ferry Road in Bala Cynwyd.

Chef Nicholas Elmi and Fia Berisha serve up an all-day café concept with sandwiches, salads, and canned cocktails on the Pencoyd Ironworks complex.

And for the furrier set, they offer pup cups filled with whipped cream and topped with a dog biscuit to enjoy while the rest of the family is enjoying their meals.

Craig LaBan’s pup Buttercup, a Great Dane mix, loves to head over to the West Mill Creek dog park in Gladwyne afterward to burn off some of those calories.

Other pawesome spots that are dog-friendly include Martha in Kensington. The bar has an enclosed garden perfect for chilling out together. The staff loves to bring out dog bowls of water, cut carrots, and fresh turkey for their furry customers.

Like what you would expect from its name, the Good Dog Bar in Center City also gets a five-whoof rating.
