IKEA, the Swedish furniture giant with U.S. headquarters in Conshohocken, is planning to open four new Plan & Order points with pickup in 2024, writes Thomas Lester for Furniture Today.

The company announced the planned locations following the release of its 2023 Annual Summary, which highlights the strides IKEA made in affordability, sustainable practices, automation, and equity and inclusion.

“As we look back at the past year, I’m proud of the progress we’ve made in reducing our environmental impact and keeping affordability and accessibility at the forefront for all our customers,” said Javier Quiñones, CEO and chief sustainability officer at IKEA U.S. “Looking ahead, we are excited about our plans for new locations and services bringing the joy of Ikea to more hearts and homes.”

The company will open one Plan & Order point with pickup in Austin, Texas, and the Atlanta metropolitan area. Two more locations will also open in the greater Los Angeles market.
