A major local craft beer festival is coming to Bucks County in a building that was extremely important to the U.S. Space program but is now a premier event venue.

The Bucks Beer Bash is happening Saturday, March 9 from 12-5 PM at an out-of-this-world venue, The Fuge located in Warminster.

“The Bucks Beer Bash is a hyperlocal event that showcases Bucks County and other area breweries, distilleries, and wineries. It is an opportunity for craft beer enthusiasts to taste some of the best local beers, talk with the breweries about their beer, and enjoy some music, food, and fun activities all in a very cool historic indoor venue that’s one of a kind,” says Bash Co-organizer and Senior Partner at Group G Marketing Partners Geff Rapp.

The emphasis for the Bucks Beer Bash is on local brewers, distillers, and winemakers and is a celebration of their craft. The Fuge offers a unique venue that houses the centrifuge used to train the Mercury and Apollo astronauts when it was part of the Johnsville Naval Air Development Center.

The Bucks Beer Bash is hosted by The Fuge and Tranquility Brewing (located at The Fuge) with a major sponsorship from Inspire Federal Credit Union. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Bash organizers structured the event differently than typical beer festivals with an emphasis on quality not quantity and with shared incentives to the breweries, distilleries and wineries to participate.

This event will introduce tasting tokens which attendees will redeem for their pours. This helps promote responsible consumption and allows the visitors to curate their own tasting experience.

In addition to tasting opportunities, there will be lots of good food, music and fun activities for attendees to engage in like the “Beer Stein challenge,” trivia contests, and more.

“I wanted to create a different type of beer fest with entertainment, games, and a true VIP experience with its own space. Our venue is unique and memorable and we’re making the Bucks Beer Bash the same.” explains Sam Cravero, event host and owner of The Fuge.

General Admission to the event is $25 prior to the day of the Bash. VIP Admission is $75 and offers early access to the event, special beer tastings, appetizers and music in an exclusive VIP Lounge.

There is also a Designated Drive Admission for those who want to accompany partaking friends and enjoy the food, music and other activities, but want to make sure everyone has safe transportation home from the event. All attendees must be age 21 and over.
