Phoenixville’s Better Days Ahead Nonprofit Brings Aid to Those Who Are Homeless in Montgomery County
Chris Brickhouse of Better Days Ahead does outreach to people living on the streets and in encampments in Montgomery County and other parts of Southeastern Pennsylvania, writes Daniella Heminghaus for PhillyBurbs.
The nonprofit provides food, water, sleeping bags, fresh clothes, and other necessary items to those in need.
In August, he was in Pottstown doing outreach. The nonprofit which is based in Phoenixville also covers Norristown, Spring City, Royersford, and other areas in the region.
On its website, Better Days Ahead says, “Helping people is our passion and we are dedicated to treating all clients with the dignity and humanity they deserve.”
The nonprofit is currently in need of the following supplies: tents, sleeping bags, solar chargers, shoes, camping gear, coats, hats, scarves, and personal items.
