Swifties and Taylor Swift herself got special thanks from Kelce brothers Jason and Travis on their New Heights podcast Wednesday for their role in making “Fairytale of Philadelphia” such a huge success, writes Kory Grow for Rolling Stone.

The duet topped the iTunes chart. It appears on the Philadelphia Eagles’ A Philly Special Christmas Special album.

Jason unknowingly rallied the troops to support the song when he tweeted that he was happy the song had made it to Number Eight on the iTunes chart.

“I got like 85 tweets from Swifties across the world being like, ‘You think eight is good? We’re taking this to Number One,” he said on the podcast, describing Swifties as a “powerful group of people.”

“Thanks, Taylor, appreciate you,” Travis added, “And thank you to the Swifties. Thank you.”

Travis Kelce is in a well-publicized relationship with Swift.

The song is a version of the Pogues’Fairytale of New York,” with home-grown lyrics about feeling brotherly love in the City of Brotherly Love.

Though the Kelce brothers were born in Ohio, Jason plays center for the Philadelphia, which featured Jason, Travis, and Eagles offensive tackles Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailata
