The Living Room at Cricket Avenue is getting ready to celebrate its one year anniversary and owner Laura Mann is still dedicated to providing an intimate live music experience, writes Ben Silver for Main Line Today.

Located at 104 Cricket Avenue in Ardmore, The Living Room features comfy sofas and armchairs just like in your home. Visitors are encouraged to curl up on them while enjoying good music and good food and drink.

With just a capacity for just 150 guests, Mann carefully selects the bands and artists that will interact with the guests offering a more personal experience.

The venue is BYOB and Mann offers homemade specialties through the next-door Cricket Café.

While Mann’s location on Cricket Avenue only opened in November of 2022, she first launched the concept in 2018 at 35 East in Ardmore with only 40 seats. Unfortunately, the economic challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic forced her to close.

The Living Room’s official anniversary is on November 4 and Mann is celebrating by holding a special celebration which will include performances by herself and Dan Navarro who has written songs for Pat Benatar and The Bangles.
