Rainy Days Can Still Be a Lot of Fun Around the Main Line from Rock Climbing to Window Shopping
Don’t let rainy days spoil your weekend fun, the Main Line has lots of cool things to offer. Here are some activities that keep the boredom at bay while also keeping you dry, writes Ben Silver for Main Line Today.
Rock Climbing
If you want to get moving, but don’t want a traditional gym day, then visit Downingtown Rock Gym or Reach Climbing and Fitness in Bridgeport.
Axe Throwing
Axe throwing has become a popular past time and there are plenty of places to have some throwing fun with some friends like Bury the Hatchet in King of Prussia and Stumpy’s Hatchet House in West Chester.
Window Shopping
Somes shopping or even just window shopping can be the most cathartic thing you can do on a rainy day. The King of Prussia Mall is the largest mall in Pennsylvania and there is plenty of boutiques and national chains to keep you busy for the afternoon. There are also plenty of great places to eat.
Movies
While you can always watch a movie at home, there is just something special about attending a movie at a theater and getting the whole grand experience.
The Main Line has plenty of theaters to choose from including smaller budget theaters like the Bryn Mawr Film Institute.
