4 New Breweries Will Soon Be Coming to Philadelphia
Pennsylvania has the second-most craft breweries in the United States, and a big part of that growth can be attributed to Philadelphia, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The growth in Philadelphia is continuing, as four new breweries and taprooms are slated to open in various parts of the city soon.
Future Days Beer Co. is targeting a November opening in Northern Liberties.
It will be a two-story space expected to accommodate between 80 and 100 people.
Customers will be able to expect 8 to 10 taps, as well as a few IPAs, a lager, pale ales and seasonal beers.
In Fairmount, an Our Town Brewery is expected to open by the end of the month, also expected to seat between 80 and 100 people.
Last November, Two Locals Brewing Co. announced plans to open its first brick-and-mortar location and is on pace to have the space fully constructed this November.
Located in University City, the space is being split evenly between the brewery and taproom and is expected to accommodate around 110 customers, including 24 outdoor seats.
Sacred Vice Brewing Co. is planning to open a second taproom in Kensington by mid-November, with 14 beers on tap, and room to seat about 50 people.
