Enjoy beers, food, live music, and artisan wares at a free Oktoberfest in Elkins Park on October 7, writes Matt Bennett for Patch.

The event is being hosted by the Pennsylvania General Store on 864 Township Line Road from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Sample delicious foods from Hippey’s Meats, Tones Spot BBQ and Empanada Mamas, and treats from Tannenbaum Foods and Pennsylvania General Store.

Beers will be on tap from Human Robot and The Ways Restaurant and Brewery. Visitors can also enjoy live music and karaoke.

Don’t forget to also check out the wares of local artisans including Wicks By Whitney and Hello Doodle.
