Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, undoubtedly one of the most challenging periods in the history of the beer industry, craft breweries in the U.S. are working hard to produce the seasonal releases that the masses look forward to every year.

In the spirit of Oktoberfest, VinePair, a digital media company that delivers content about drinks and “the experiences you have with a glass in hand,” has ranked its six-best Munich-style and Bavarian-style lagers brewed in the U.S.

And Victory Brewing Company’s Festbier Märzen has been crowned No. 1. It wowed VinePair’s panelists, who described it as “endlessly gulpable” and “beer at its best.”

Victory describes its Festbier Märzen as “subtly sweet with a delicate malt nose. (It) gains its impressive body from our use of all imported German malts and decoction brewing process.”
