Conshohocken’s Yaniv Aronson Recognized as 2023 Pennsylvania Mayor of the Year

Mayor Yaniv Aronson, his wife Sarah and son Thomas with state Rep. Greg Scott and Montgomery County Commissioner Jamila Winder.

Conshohocken Mayor Yaniv Aronson is leading by example in The Keystone State. The father, husband, and professor of communications at Montgomery County Community College, has been recognized by the Pennsylvania State Mayors’ Association as the 2023 Pennsylvania Mayor of the Year, writes M. English for The Times Herald.

However, Aronson credits his hard-working borough staff and council for making Conshohocken a blossoming town. He shouted out EMS services making sacrifices during the COVID-19 pandemic and displaying heroism during record floodings.

In addition, he thanked county commissioners for their efforts in increasing safety in Conshohocken, and maintaining the Schuylkill Running Trail, where Aronson met and got engaged to his wife Sarah.

He also commended his wife’s platform as First Lady, and her mental health advocacy work, which included training and fundraisers. Sarah will shift her focus to supporting families who have children with congenital heart defects, as their seven-month-old son was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome.

“Everyone here has been instrumental in making Conshohocken such an incredible place to live, work and play.” said Yaniv Aronson at a public Council meeting.
