West Pottsgrove’s Rory Ehrlich Wins National Mullet Competition

Rory Ehrlich, a 6-year-old boy from West Pottsgrove Township, has won the 2023 USA Mullet Championship.

He was a contestant in the children’s division of the competition and first garnered attention when he advanced to the final round, writes Deanna Durante, Emily Rose Grassi, and Cherise Lynch for NBC 10.

Each competitor is asked to name their mullet and Rory calls his “Cheeder Wiz” after his favorite way to order a cheesesteak.

Ehrlich and the other contestants raised funds during the competition to support former NFL star

Jared Allen’s organization Home for Wounded Warriors which builds accessible, and mortgage-free homes for critically injured U.S. military veterans.

Ehrlich has raised over $1,000 so far. As the championship winner, he takes home a cash prize and the USA Mullet Championship trophy.
