The first-ever Glenside Jenkintown Restaurant Week is making its big debut on September 25 and will run to October 2, writes Kevin Tierney for the Glenside Local.

Glenside Local is helping to promote the event along with the Downtown Glenside Foundation and the Jenkintown Community Alliance. More than 10 restaurants in the area will participate in this year’s event.

Each of the participating restaurants will offer prix fixe menus during the restaurant week. The menus will be available in early September.

Participating restaurants include: Drake Tavern, Elia Greek Restaurant, Human Robot “The Haus,” The Pizza Wheel, West Avenue Grille, and many more.

“We are so excited to have our two restaurants, West Avenue Grille & Pizza Wheel, be a part of Restaurant Week. We think it’s a great opportunity for a continued sense of community and local support in our area,” Dan and Chelsea Katz said.

“We look forward to the potential of growing stronger as a neighborhood and to adding the addition of our third restaurant, The Highland, in future events.”
