Are you looking for something fun to do with the kids this Thursday night?

If you live in Abington Township, then you won’t want to miss the free showing of “DC League of Super-Pets” at Alverthorpe Park, writes Max Bennett for Patch.

On August 17 at 8 p.m., the township will be showing the PG movie starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as Superman’s dog Krypto/Bark Kent, and Kevin Hart as Batman’s dog Ace/Bat-Hound on the big screen.

Alverthorpe Park is located at Jenkintown Road and Forrest Avenue in Jenkintown. You are encouraged to bring your own blankets and lawn chairs.

In case of inclement weather, the movie will be rescheduled for Friday, August 18.
