The company founders wanted to create their own brand that easily translates from the course to the clubhouse.

Forward Golf’s co-founders Michelle Prescott and Brittany Bollard want to celebrate the social aspect of golf with their brand of women’s golf apparel, writes Kristen Schott for Philadelphia Magazine.

“It’s about the company we keep and the fun we’re having,” said Prescott, a PR and marketing expert who has worked in TV production for the PGA Tour Champions.

Prescott along with Bollard, who has a background in fashion and wellness, are golfers themselves and found the lack of stylish golf apparel disheartening. So, they decided to create their own brand that easily translates from the course to the clubhouse.

They launched their first collection in April. The skirts with under-shorts, tops, and a jacket that comes in green, navy, and tan.

Prescott and Bollard are also promoting get-togethers at driving ranges or on the course called “Sand Trap Social Club” to help women golfers socialize more.

Forward Golf is based in Lafayette Hill. Find out prices and more about the new line at Philadelphia Magazine.
