The Sheraton Bucks County Langhorne has stood in the area for close to four decades.

A well-known hotel in Bucks County is going up for auction, and the listing will see a large starting price offered for those interested. Staff writers for the Philadelphia Business Journal wrote about the details.

The Sheraton Bucks County Langhorne, located at 400 Oxford Valley Road in Langhorne, is being put up for auction from Aug. 7 – 9 by RI Marketplace. Starting bids will begin at $3.9 million.

The property has been owned by Sheraton, a part of the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, for 37 years. A part of the auction’s deal will include “flexible branding options”, meaning that a competing company could buy the property and rebrand it under a new name.

“The Hotel was last renovated in 2014/2015, presenting an investor with the opportunity to acquire a well-located, institutional hotel and drive additional upside through completion of the Property Improvement Plan,” the sponsor listing said online.

“A comprehensive renovation will allow for a substantial lift in the average daily rate the hotel is able to achieve.”
