Pollinator Palooza is a family-friendly festival.

A nature preserve in Bucks County will be celebrating its local wildlife with a family-fun gathering this weekend.

Event organizers with the Delaware Canal State Park and Jackson Pond Preserve will be hosting ‘Pollinator Palooza’ at the preserve in Forest Grove, an unincorporated community in Buckingham Township, on Aug. 12 from 10 AM – 3 PM.

“As the butterfly emerges from its chrysalis, so too has our Jackson Pond Preserve metamorphosed into a beautiful 4-acre pollinator meadow!” event organizers said online.

” Our community will be abuzz with delight as we engage with games, crafts, art sales, interactive educational activities, and guided hikes.”

Parking will be available behind the Forest Grove Presbyterian Church at 1856 Forest Grove Road in Furlong.

With its diverse habitat and abundant plant and animal life, this 10-acre preserve consists of farmland, woodlands, and a pond, and it is an excellent site for educational field trips with local schools as well as engagement events like Farm to Table that help to raise awareness of the importance of protecting our natural resources.
