One of the most popular malls in Bucks County has had a major update made to its building, allowing shoppers to chill out this summer. JD Mullane wrote about the update for the Bucks County Courier Times.

The Oxford Valley Mall, located at 2300 East Lincoln Highway in Langhorne, recently had a 21-ton air-conditioning chiller installed into the main building. This was a much-needed updated to the mall, which has been a popular destination for locals and visitors since it opened in 1973.

“There are a lot of exciting things coming to the mall, and the chiller is just one more thing to better meet the needs of our guests,” said Christopher Dudley, the local director of marketing and development for Simon Properties, which owns the mall.

“As with anything in a building like this, the old system reached the end of its useful life.”

This is one of many updates being made to the mall’s property. A large apartment complex is being built over long-unused parking space in walking distance of the mall.
