The CEO Forum Group’s new list of the Top 10 CEOs Transforming Healthcare in America is out, and a local leader is on it, writes Kelly Gooch for Becker’s Hospital Review.

The list is based on interviews performed by Robert Reiss, founder and CEO of The CEO Forum Group, and his team. Each of the ten CEOs was assigned a category that defines their value to healthcare.

“These individuals are carefully chosen by our editorial board as CEOs who have created new value that is reinventing the healthcare industry,” said Reiss.

Marc Miller, president and CEO of King of Prussia-based Universal Health Services, is one of the ten CEOs who are transforming the nation’s healthcare. Miller is making a huge impact on behavioral health, according to the publication.

Miller was named to the position of President and CEO in January 2021, after having served at the company as President since 2009.

Last year, he was named in the Modern Healthcare Most Influential annual ranking at No. 49. This ranking recognized him for his visionary leadership and for upholding the UHS’ patient-centered focus every day.
