Montgomery County’s New Assistant District Attorney Is Also an Actor and Filmmaker

Montgomery County’s recently sworn-in new assistant district attorney, Jordan Rhone is not only a lawyer, but also an actor and filmmaker, writes Ryan Genova for Glenside Local.

Rhone was sworn in on Tuesday, July 18 by Judge Virgil B. Walker and Deputy District Attorney/Chief of Trials Thomas W. McGoldrick.

While he is very passionate about the practice of the law, Rhone also enjoys bringing important stories to the screen as well as an actor and filmmaker.

He writes, directs, and produces independent films. A comedy he wrote about the COVID-19 pandemic won “Best Film” at a South Carolina film competition in 2020, and he wrote and directed a true crime documentary called “How to Kill a Carl.”

According to IMDB.com, he has also acted in the television series, “Sprung,” and “Mindhunter.”

Rhone, who is a native of Altoona, Pennsylvania, is a licensed attorney in Pennsylvania and currently sits on several Pennsylvania Bar Association committees, including committees on Cybersecurity/Data Privacy/ Technology, Government Lawyers, and Civil Rights.
