Saniyah Thompson is making her dreams come true. Her company Dulce Candles is growing by leaps and bounds and is an inspiration for other young entrepreneurs, writes Wakisha Bailey for CBS News Philadelphia.

She started out with a pop-up inside the Cherry Hill Mall and now has her own brick and mortar specialty candle shop inside the Willow Grove Park Mall.

There she sells her favorite candle scents, including sugar cookie, banana pudding, hot chocolate, caramel popcorn, vanilla lavender, and cinnamon bun. She has also started a new custom candle cake line.

Dulce Candles is a family affair with both her mom and grandmother chipping in with making the candles and helping out at the store.

Wanting to give back for all the support she has received growing her business, Thompson invites other young entrepreneurs to showcase their products at her store as well.

“Many people have tried to help me and I just want to be that person to other young kids and just people around my age,” she said. “Because they’re not too far from me.”
