The Center for Loss and Bereavement, a leading comprehensive grief center serving the greater Philadelphia region, is excited to announce the 3rd Annual Fields of Hope Event.

This event, held on a private farm in Worcester Township, aims to raise funds and awareness for the organization while providing a unique and uplifting experience for attendees. 

The Center for Loss and Bereavement, founded over 20 years ago, has become a highly regarded resource for thousands of individuals who have experienced profound loss. As the only non-profit center in the region offering professional grief counseling and comprehensive peer support groups for all ages, the organization plays a critical role in the community. 

The Fields of Hope Event, taking place on Saturday, July 22, 2023, and Sunday, July 23, 2023, from 9 AM – 4 PM, invites participants to visit the farm and pick their own sunflower bouquet.

Rows of vibrant sunflowers symbolize the strength and growth that can emerge from the deepest grief. Additionally, Silver Orchid Photography will be offering professional photography sessions as an optional add-on experience during the U-Pick event. Ready-made flower arrangements will also be available for purchase, allowing attendees to take home a piece of the event. 

One of the highlights of the Fields of Hope Event is the opportunity to donate a row dedication sign in memory or in honor of a loved one. This heartfelt tribute allows participants to pay tribute while supporting The Center for Loss and Bereavement’s mission. 

The event also features private 15-minute professional photo mini-sessions with Silver Orchid Photography. These sessions showcase their signature little blue vintage truck set design and all proceeds will benefit The Center for Loss and Bereavement. Mini-sessions take place outside of the U-Pick on 7/18, 7/26 and 7/27 from 3:30 – 8 PM. 

As a non-profit organization, The Center for Loss and Bereavement relies on the support of the community to continue offering a place of support, hope, and growth to those grieving. Local businesses are encouraged to join as sponsors and become partners in supporting the organization’s mission and raising awareness for grief.
