After two years in development, a popular Brazilian steakhouse, Gaucho’s Prime, will open its doors next month at the former Ruth’s Chris location in King of Prussia, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Named after southern Brazil’s traditional cowboys, the eatery is expected to officially open on June 8. It will offer tableside service with a prix-fixe menu.
The establishment will serve 18 different cuts of meat, such as sausage, pork, chicken, lamb, and beef. The menu will also contain traditional Brazilian side dishes like rice, beans, and pão de queijo, a delicious cheesy bread.
The salad bar will feature around 60 different food items, including heart of palm from Brazil and asparagus from Peru. Several cheeses and smoked salmon will also be available.
The prix-fixe menu will cost $64 per person. Those wanting access to just the salad bar can pay $32.
Meanwhile, a full bar and cocktail program will offer 150 wines from around the globe. The restaurant’s signature cocktail is the Caipirinha, which is made with lime, sugar, ice, and Brazilian white rum cachaça.
