Montco Pharma Manager Named to 2023 List of Supply-Chain’s Youngest, Strongest Links

The Institute for Supply Management (ISM), a Tempe, Arizona., supply-chain organization, recognized Lansdale Johnson & Johnson R&D procurement category manager Karen Burlingame as one of its 30-Under-30 standouts. Investors Observer carried the news.

In assessing the 2022–2023 industry standouts, Thomas W. Derry, ISM Chief Executive Officer, said, “The accomplishments and talents of this group are extraordinary. We’re continually impressed by the standout initiative, leadership, and abilities these young professionals have demonstrated to drive value across their organizations.”

ISM 30-Under-30 nominations come from third parties; they are not self-submitted. Valued qualities include:

  • Leadership
  • Innovation
  • Collaboration

The 30 chosen individuals came from hundreds of peer nominations representing professionals in the U.S., the U.K., Germany, Austria, Oman, and Slovakia.

Sixty percent of this year’s inductees are women, and the average age of the 2022–2023 class is 26.

Burlingame, who also lives in Lansdale, graduated from North Penn High School before earning both her BS and Master’s Degree at Penn State University.
