Neumann Honors King of Prussia Alumna Courtney Curcio

Courtney Curcio, a King of Prussia resident, received the 2023 Neumann University Alumni Association Volunteer of the Year Award on March 7.

Since graduating from Neumann in 2018, Curcio has continuously supported the university and its sport management program. She has helped to create a sports management affinity group, educated Neumann students as a guest speaker, and volunteered in many roles for the university’s annual fundraising golf event.

The Volunteer of the Year award recognizes her as a tireless advocate for the value of a Neumann University education.

Courtney Curcio currently serves as the foundation director of the non-profit Professional Golfers Association (PGA) Reach Philadelphia.

The mission of the organization is to impact communities and enrich lives through the game of golf by supporting and delivering programs that focus on personal development and sportsmanship with an emphasis on youth, military, and diversity.

As a student at Neumann University, located in Aston, Curcio completed four sport management internships.

She was a marketing intern at NBC Sports Philadelphia, worked in event operations with the Philadelphia Union, served as a marketing coordinator at the First Tee of Greater Philadelphia, and worked in community/player development with the PGA Philadelphia.
