Montgomery County Community College is inviting applications for a part-time ceramics, noncredit trainer position. The ideal candidate should have
professional knowledge and skill in ceramic design and creation.

The selected applicant will be responsible for overseeing the advanced ceramic students who have unstructured time in the studio to create and finish work independently.

The ceramics trainer must also have experience in the proper techniques of wheel throwing and hand building to guide students’ ability to create professionally designed ceramic pieces. He or she must also be able to maintain and safely use kilns.

This position is for summer session 2023 (June to August) and requires the candidate to submit Pennsylvania State Police check, Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI Fingerprints prior to the first day of employment.

Additional qualifications require a Bachelor of Fine Arts and experience working in a ceramics studio. This position is open until filled.
