Luxe Mauve & Greenery Editorial, a nationwide publisher of wedding content, recently shot photos for bridal magazine MunaLuchi Bridal at Cairnwood Estate in Bryn Athyn. Linda Wallentine reported the project in the self-same MunaLuchi Bridal.
The Montgomery County setting — full of old-world charm and modern luxury — guided many of the choices for décor and detail.
Spring florals were prominent, with buds of pink, mauve, and pale orange interwoven among greenery. Candles and gold-plated silverware accented the tables.
The professionals involved in the project came from various sources:
- Bloomst Floral Design of Titusville, New Jersey. was the florist
- Event-planners from Heather Benge, Houston, staged the décor and tablescapes
- Jo Mahaney, of the eponymous Photography by Jo in Virginia, was behind the camera
“Cairnwood invited us to experience the grandeur of the Gilded Age, and we just had to add our modern luxury touch,” said Mahaney, reflecting on the experience.
