Joanna Coe, PGA Director of Instruction at Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, has found her place on Golf Digest’s latest Best Young Teachers in America list. The publication’s editors reported the professional accolade.

While there is no one formula to determine the recognition, Golf Digest focused on two main traits: instructors who are under 40 and who have an innate knack for making golfers better.

Coe has more than a decade of performing at the highest levels of professional golf.

She has been improving the game of students of all ages and their abilities for years. She also has a proven track record with them.

Her expertise is aptly priced; an hour of instruction costs $150.

She joined Merion Golf Club in March 2022.

The club boasts East and West Courses that were designed by Hugh Wilson. The East Course has hosted more USGA Championships than any other course in America.

Most recently, it hosted the 2022 Curtis Cup, where it once again welcomed some of the best golfers.
