As a Willow Grove native, Jill Biden is the Philadelphia Eagles fan-in-chief, ever-ready to proclaim her love of the Birds. Amy Parnes, MSN, reported on the green and white that runs through the First Lady’s veins.

Jill Biden is the first White House resident in years who has hometown bragging rights on the line in a Super Bowl game.

She has been unabashed — and perhaps occasionally over the top — about the great season the Eagles have enjoyed.

Washington, D.C. press photographers have captured her sporting an Eagles shirt several times over the past weeks. Even during the busy schedule on the campaign trail ahead of the midterms, she followed the games and found time to tweet her support to the team.

And of course, she is headed to Arizona for the Super Bowl, something that the president let slip during a recent Philadelphia fundraiser.

“I’m Jill Biden’s husband,” he said. “She’s a Philly girl, so the first thing I’m going to say is ‘Go Eagles! Fly Eagles Fly!’” cheered President Joe Biden.

“Now the good news is, I happen to mean it,” he continued.

“But even if I didn’t, I’d say it. You know why?

“Otherwise, I’d be sleeping alone.”
