Like many, a Haverford couple balances the daily responsibilities of careers, chores, and child-rearing responsibilities. But a closer look reveals more: This clan comprises Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham and wife Carlyne. Gina Lizzo profiled the family in Main Line Today.

Carlyne describes her household as typical. “My husband takes the kids to school. He enjoys taking them to swim class and folding clothes,” she said.

Professionally, she is a licensed psychotherapist who works as a lactation consultant at three area hospitals.

On home-game Sundays, Brandon departs for Lincoln Financial Field at 9 AM, following family breakfast with children Bryson (3) and Emerson (6).

Carlyne arrives later with the kids for a quick hello from daddy.

“[Brandon] really enjoys seeing the kids on the field and giving them hugs and good luck kisses,” Carlyne said.

Fans may thrill at the gridiron conquests that unfold, but Carlyne watches with attentive concern.

“Any time [Brandon] is in there, it’s like an anxiety. It’s like watching your significant other having head-on collisions. It’s nerve-wracking to see because you know one wrong step and they can get injured.”

She’s understandably upbeat, however, about Super Bowl LVII, identifying the Eagles 2022 season as “… something special. Everyone knows that.”
