A new brewery in Gilbertsville will be taking over a 35-acre farm. Josh and Brett Firely will be running the show at Sunset Hill Brewing, but not without help from the family. The brothers told BreweriesinPA in an interview that Brett oversees brewing and Josh handles the taproom.   

Josh’s wife Steph is the accountant and Brett’s wife Brook designs the cans. Even their dad helps out.

The taproom will seat 35 and will offer pilsners/lagers, IPAs, stouts, and porters. The brewery also plans to offer seasonal drinks such as summer shandy and pumpkin beers.  

However, the sipping experience doesn’t end in the taproom. The brothers are planning to grow hops on the fields and have an outdoor beer garden. There will also be a patio with firepits and plenty of autumnal outdoor activities, including a pumpkin patch and corn maze.
