City Ave District has two fall lunch and learn sessions upcoming; they are informative and free.

The City Ave District, the nonprofit organization serving as a catalyst for economic and civic vibrancy across this important corridor, is hosting an upcoming series of free, in-person lunch-and-learn sessions.

The first, Money Matters: Financial Wellness 101, is Sept. 28 at 12 p.m.

In this introductory financial planning workshop sponsored by Tompkins Community Bank, attendees will get information on managing finances, particularly in a volatile market. Its presenters will address individual risk tolerances, investment strategies, and financial life planning.

Additional details and registration are online.

On Oct. 11, vybe urgent care will co-host an interactive session that offers information on workers’ comp services, employer-paid occupational health services, and the benefits of partnering with vybe.

Complete information and a means of signing up are on the City Ave District website.

Both events are free with lunch provided, underscoring the importance of letting City Ave District know of attendance beforehand.

The full list of upcoming City Ave District events, including these latest lunch and learn dates, is on its site.
