Montgomery County Community College invites applications for the Part-time Coordinator of Dual Enrollment Grant Programs position.

The Part-time Coordinator of Dual Enrollment Grant Programs is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and administration of the dual enrollment grant programs including Bridge to Employment. 

The coordinator will act as a liaison to college grant partners, coordinate and attend program activities and events, coordinate student recruitment, and ensure accurate records and reports are maintained for program operations. This position has College-wide responsibilities and requires travel between campuses, locations, and partner sites. 

The main location is at the Blue Bell Campus. This position is grant-funded and contingent upon grant funding. 

Hours: Twenty-five hours per week. Must be available day, evening, and weekend hours.

Essential Knowledge & Skills

Education/Training/Work Experience

  • Master’s degree from an accredited institution required.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and a proven record of being able to work well with people in a service organization required.
  • Experienced in working with high school aged youth, including students from low socio­ economic backgrounds and students with disabilities.
  • Proficiency in utilizing computer technology especially word processing, spreadsheets and online communication tools required.
  • Experienced in grant administration.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills

  • Ability to organize work effectively, attend to detail, and be effective with limited supervision
  • Ability to cultivate relationships and serve as unit ambassador to the College external community
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to a comprehensive community college philosophy.
  • Demonstrated commitment to work with diverse populations, such as under-resourced groups and first-generation students.
  • Two (2) years of directly applicable experience preferred.
