PCOM Healthcare Celebrates Opening of New Family Medicine Center on City Line Avenue

Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) hosted a ribbon-cutting celebration for the new Family Medicine at PCOM healthcare center. Conveniently located on City Avenue, this newly-renovated space includes fifteen exam rooms and a dedicated space for mental health services.

“For so many of us here at the College, Family Medicine at PCOM stands as a model of hope and healing,” shared Jay Feldstein, DO `81, President and CEO, PCOM.
“Our expanded and reimagined space was realized through a $3.5 million dollar College investment and a Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) grant. It emboldens our work to provide patients in the Philadelphia community with access to quality care while addressing social determinants of health and healthcare disparities,” continued Dr. Feldstein.
With a focus on quality and accessibility of health care for patients, Family Medicine at PCOM offers a variety of healthcare services, including family medicine, geriatrics, gynecology, osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM), pediatrics, mental health services, and psychology.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, attendance for this event was limited.
In alignment with the current guidelines for healthcare centers from the City of Philadelphia, all participants, guests were required to wear masks, as well as follow social distancing guidelines.
