In Chester County’s Kennet Square, Landhope Corp. (dba Landhope Farms) recorded strong sales for the last year and is optimistic about sales in 2022, writes Greg Lindenberg for CSP magazine.

The hyperlocal convenience-store chain’s results align with those of the rest of the country, where 66 percent of quick-stop retailers report in-store-generated cash flow higher in 2021 than that of 2020.

The rosy performance also reflects general upturns industry-wide. Sixty-three percent of the membership of the National Association of Convenience Stores saw higher sales for the same 2020-2021 time frame.

Landhope Farms attributes its good results in part to its ongoing focus on convenience and believes that the same approach will continue to pay dividends in the current year.

“It’s during the difficult times that you see the vendors that step up,” said Dennis McCartney, director of operations at Landhope Corp. “Where there is a will, there is a way; and it always results in satisfying our customers 100 percent of the time, no matter what circumstances challenge the final product.”

Lanmdhope offers superior customer service and proudly supports the communities they serve through local charities and organizations.
