Preferred Home Improvement, a Willow Grove family business, has received national recognition from House & Home for work done on Bucks County homes, as reported in a press release from Elysium Marketing Group, LLC.

The contractors won a spot among the publication’s best 2021 contractors in the category Exterior Home Improvements.

The honor came from readers’ votes on metrics that included quality of products, expertise, customer service, and regional reputation.

Owner Mike D’Amario, Sr., started in the trade more than 30 years ago, learning roofing and siding at a business he started at age 18. The quality of his work even then burnished his reputation among local contractors.

“People know that we provide good communication throughout the process and fair pricing on top-notch products,” D’Amario said. “Our crews are friendly and extremely neat. They really have a sense of pride in what they do.”

Preferred Home Improvement specializes in roofing, siding, windows, and doors. The home renovations contractor also offers stucco remediation and deck and addition services. It is a preferred contractor for Owens Corning roofing products and was recently upgraded to an Elite Preferred Contactor status by James Hardie, America’s leading siding brand. Both require meeting strict standards for professionalism, trustworthiness, and outstanding craftsmanship.

The House & Home best-of competition began in 2014. Its awards go to companies and individuals in southeastern Pa., N.J., and Del., based on community recommendations.
