The DripBar, a liquid IV franchise based in Warwick, Rhode Island, will open a Center City location in the next few months and is eying Mongomery and Philadelphia counties for a total of 11 locations, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The DripBar offers 18 IV drips that, according to the company, can help people maintain their overall health and improve their immune system, as well as treat a chronic illness or a head-splitting hangover.

Treatments are categorized as lifestyle or health support. Out of the available 18, 14 are lifestyle drips that start at $139 and go up to $349. Meanwhile, three health support drips are priced from $100 to $200. There is also a ‘Mistletoe’ drip that complements cancer treatment and varies in price.

Drip treatments last between 25 and 40 minutes.

Philadelphia resident Pam Harrison has acquired the DripBar development rights for Philadelphia and Montgomery counties. After she opens a showcase location in Center City, the remaining ten locations will be offered to other franchisers.

“Having something like this can really just help improve the health of the population in general,” said Harrison.
