Thanks to a new partnership between Giant Co. and WOWorks LLC, the parent company behind Conshohocken-based Saladworks, four new dining locations have opened up within Giant grocery stores, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Two of the four locations are doubly-branded restaurants that have Frutta Bowls cafes along with Saladworks dining options.

The new in-store dining areas are located in Giant grocery stores in Doylestown, Trexlertown, Harrisburg, and Northeast Philadelphia.

All of the locations opened just within the past month.

The Philadelphia and Trexlertown locations have both Frutta Bowls and Saladworks, while the Doylestown location just has a Frutta Bowls, which offers delectable smoothies, superfood bowls, oatmeal bowls, and much more.

The opening of these new dining locations indicates a new step forward for Giant’s partnership with WOWorks, which first began last year.

WOWorks hopes to continue to grow its presence with in-store locations. The new Doylestown dining area is the first franchisee-owned in-store concept for WOWorks, and they hope to keep expanding in grocery store spaces.

“This grocery store model is gaining traction because they are quicker to build out and open, have attractive back-end efficiencies, and give customers more menu options covering all dayparts to help increase store foot traffic,” said WOWorks CEO Kelly Roddy.
